THE PERFECT GET-A-WAY W/ MY NUXE TRAVELKIT?

THE ESSENTIALS

Are you planning a vacation of did you book last-minute citytrip? NUXE has been a brand that I have been wanting to try for quite some time, as it is constantly raved about in the bloggers community. I’ve been using these products since June in order to provide you an honest and a more in-depth review of each product. This particular kit contains 5 travel size NUXE products: 1 Rêve de Miel face cleansing and make-up removing gel 15ml, 1 Crème Prodigieuse 15ml, 1  Huile Prodigieuse® 10ml, 1 Rêve de Miel handcream 15ml, 1 Prodigieux Shower Oil 30ml. The RÊVE DE MIEL FACE CLEANSING AND MAKE-UP REMOVING GEL cleanses, soothes and removes make-up in one go – whilst being kind to your skin. Which is a must for me as I have sensitive skin. The make-up did come off but I prefer my Clinique Take The Day Off balm over this one. After cleansing, I still felt like there were tracés of make-up left and my skin didn’t feel as clean as I was used to. As an addition to the cleanser, I had to make-up wipes and just used my holy grail remover instead. I also didn’t like the overpowering rose scent.

At first, I thought NUXE products were more for woman with a mature skin since there are so many rich ingredients in them. I was afraid that it would make me break out but it didn’t. The CRÈME PRODIGIEUSE MOISTURISES, revives and protects skin from oxidative stress. I found this one to be very hydrating. It has a cooling effect every time I applied it. NUXE’s major claim is that it’s an anti-fatigue cream, it’s nice to see that my skin looks fresher and brighter with a nice glow. NUXE products don’t contain any mineral oils, no animal ingredients, no chemical agents (paraben-free!). Also, NUXE Paris conducts regular testing registered by the French Ministry of Research. I love ethical companies like this! My favorite one, the HUILE PRODIGIEUSE IS a unique combination of 30% precious plant oils and vitamin E which nourishes, repairs and softens your face, body and hair in just one single step. Personally I’ve only tried it once on my locks and I was quite impressed so far. RÊVE DE MIEL HANDCREAM NOURISHES and repairs dry and chapped hands. To me, the handcream felt like any other handcream And last but not least, the PRODIGIEUX SHOWER OIL which gently cleanses and leaves a satin finish on your skin. I’ve included some photos to not only compare the textures within their product line but also as a reference.

I decided to buy the NUXE Summer Travel Kit in early June when I went to my local pharmacy, due to the fact that there are 5 sample sized products you can try or take with you on your annual holiday. Because of these mini-sizes – especially since they come in the same packaging as their parents but just smaller – I can see if I like any of these products before I go ahead and buy the full size version. And with such an afforable the price point, around $20, I couldn’t resist giving this a try. If they’re is one thing I’ve learnt about NUXE because of this set is that they love to heavily-scent their products with this strong, sophisticated fragrance feel that I personally don’t like in my skincare. This doesn’t mean that I didn’t like the formula of what it did for my skin in general. I’m just not sure about some items within their range but I’m determined in giving them another go in due time. Especially with fall and winter approaching, my skin will probably be needing some extra nourrishing moisture. You can discover NUXE at your local pharmacy, warehouse of shopping mall at almost any counter of www.nuxe.com for more information.

Nuxe is such a sofisticated brand. I think I am going to buy their handcream and body oil for my girlfriend! Thanks Sophie for the tip, might pick this up before going on holiday
